Change Is Good

Fall Leaves Changing Color

Well, this is my first post in November and I am happy to say I am ready for autumn to be in full swing.  Living in Southern California sometimes leaves me wanting for some real seasons.  I am ready for change.  However, when it’s 70 degrees in December it’s hard to complain that much.

Something that has recently changed are the aesthetics of the blog.  Sometimes I get bored and need to switch things up.  I always want to see if I can improve upon what I have.   Being the least computer savvy or technologically inclined person on the planet, it has been a fun and frustrating challenge to learn how to set my blog up, keep it running, and change things as I get the itch.  Writing is the easy part!

Speaking of writing, I really dropped the ball on my last post.  For the finale of the 31 Days of Pink I chose to post at the end of a long Halloween night when I was feeling tired and uninspired.  Not a good idea.  So, I tried to redeem myself and if you’d like, you can read about my feelings about the conclusion of the 31 Days of Pink.

I am excited to see where the next adventure will lead.  Change is good.  In fact, it is necessary.  If we aren’t changing and growing, we are slowly dying.

“What is the difference between a living thing and a dead thing?  In the medical world, a clinical definition of death is a body that does not change. Change is life. Stagnation is death. If you don’t change, you die.  It’s that simple. It’s that scary.”

So let’s keep changing.  Let’s keep living!

Salty kisses!

Karen
