Adios 31 Days of Pink

Ending the 31 Days of Pink
Ending the 31 Days of Pink

The 31 Days of Pink have come to and end.   Thank you so much for joining me on the journey!  I am happy to say I learned some things along the way.  I was able to become more educated on breast cancer and find new resources available to help.  I was able to connect with other women who have been touched by breast cancer in some way.  I was able to encourage women to take the some steps in a healthy direction.  And my favorite part was connecting with people who were affected in large and small ways by the 31 Days of Pink.

An unexpected part of this pink journey was that I also learned some things about myself.  Whenever you put yourself out there and do something new, deeper self-awareness is sure to follow.  I learned that I am creative but not crafty.  I found that I am passionate about spreading the word about early breast cancer detection.  I learned that blogging every day is a bit much.  I found that not everyone will appreciate my message and that is ok.  This says nothing about me and I must not let it deter me.  And finally, I was reminded that there really is no other option when you make a commitment, but to finish.

Thank you again for the pink love!  Now on to the next adventure!!

Salty Pink Kisses!
