Today was one of those days where gratitude washes over me.  The impending holiday where the sole purpose is to pause and give thanks tends to do that to people.

Well I am thankful.  Thankful for a life with incredible blessings.  Not that it is perfect by any stretch.   My life is pretty simple.

It’s all about perception.

I used to think it wasn’t enough.  My life.  That I needed to be doing more.

So today, I will just be thankful for my simple life.  My family. My health. My loved one’s health. My house. My food. My clothes. My friends. My love for surfing.

I choose to believe my life is good.  And because I do, it is.

Here is a tiny glimpse into a Wahine Wednesday…something I am incredibly thankful for.

I found my daughter’s waterproof camera and decided to take it out. My videography skills are lacking but I’ll get better…I promise!!  The clips are short.

The morning sky was amazing and seemed to get prettier the longer we were out.  Video taping while riding a wave is a newly discovered talent. 🙂

Friends were all around.  We were joined by peeps we usually surf with in Seal Beach but haven’t seen in a while because there has been minimal surf there.
