Interwoven

Where does one begin and the other end?

These two separate entities

Separate beings that perform as one

One necessary to the other; as necessary as the air we breathe

This question pulls at my heart

Am I referring to my dependable surfboard?

My mode of transportation for traveling the ocean’s surface

Or am I relating to my beloved soul sisters?

My heart which has taken on the form of other women

My beautiful surf sisters that I am interwoven with in the water

We are all separate;

Yet in the ocean we are one.

    • That is why we need to be in the ocean more:) I love you, your blog, and our surf sisters who read both of your sentiments. Thank you for putting into words what all of us feel in our hearts.

    I like your blog and the aloha.This is Bob we met this morn surfing River. How is this “Where does the passion come from and where does it go?” Something I have been pondering lately. Don’t change your style – keep it real. Joe confirmed my comments – we enjoy your surfing. C u soon i hope. Safe travels.

    • Thank you Bob and it was a pleasure talking with you this morning between waves! I appreciate the comments about my style…And I will ponder your question. It is something I wonder myself. See you in the line up!

      • I am new to blogs. What is with the icon symbol next to my reply? Have I been given a karmic geometric avatar that will go on all my boards henceforth, on my stationary and maybe a tatoo? Always thought I would find a tatoo when I go to Samoa or Tahiti ha ha! No need now. And I am a writer and you and Tiare can write. I am enjoying this already. om shanti

        • Thank you! Tiare and I are enjoying writing almost as much as we enjoy surfing! And I am not sure about the avatar…I say wait for Tahiti to get that tatoo inspiration. 🙂
