Early in 2014, on a gray day in January, there was a huge swell in Southern California. Seal Beach was hit particularly strong. This shot doesn’t fully capture how monstrous the waves were that day but is my interpretation of descent.
Descending the face of a wall of water leaves you with a feeling that dares not be described with words.
