Several years ago I had what you might call an identity crisis. After being a stay home mom for more than 15 years, I started to feel out of sync. I began to question my purpose in life. I knew I needed something more. In my attempt to shake things up a bit, I set a goal to surf every Wednesday for a year and start a blog about it. This is a page dedicated to that blog, Wahine Wednesdays.
Wahine Wednesdays is where my love for surfing transformed into a love for writing. It is where I started to uncover the parts of myself that I had been neglecting. It is what ignited my passions and encouraged me to step away from complacency to follow my dreams.
Wahine Wednesdays is where my journey back to myself began.
I have extreme love for Wahine Wednesdays. It was what led me to One Salty Kiss.
If you want to know more about how I started on my blogging journey or are interested in how I surfed every Wednesday for a year, you can read the posts here.
About Wahine Wednesdays
Wahine Wednesdays was a blog dedicated to documenting my journey to surf every Wednesday for a year, no matter the conditions.
Somehow I had lost my stoke, my joy for surfing and for life. Wahine Wednesdays was my way to reclaim it.
